The British Business Forum welcomed Lord Astor of Hever accompanied by HMA Jamie Bowden on Sunday 6th. October, at the Grand Hyatt. Lord Astor was in Oman for high level meetings with the Ministry of Defence and the Chief of Staff of the Sultan’s Armed Forces to promote collaboration between the UK and Oman. The BBF meeting was sponsored by W S Atkins headed by Marco G. Malpiedi, the newly arrived MD for the ME & India. BBF will also welcomed, Michael Head, the new Deputy Head of UKTI who comes to Oman by way of China and Nigeria. BBF Oman have recently signed a reciprocal MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) with COBCO (Council of Chambers of Commerce in Europe).
