The Sunday 3rd December BBF was hosted by The Hyatt Hotel
A BIG thank you to the Grand Hyatt & BP for joint sponsorship of a memorable December BBF in the John Barry Bar. The traditional British fayre buffet, beginning with heaps of Scottish smoked salmon, oysters and steak tartar and including roast beef and Yorkshire pudding was exceptional thanks to the new Executive Chef, Jason Brotherton, and his team.
Good to welcome so many old and new BBF members and visitors.
Special thanks are due to Daniel Banchard, GM of BP Oman and Christoph Franzen GM of the Hyatt. Christoph moves to Qatar in the new year. He will be much missed and we wish him every success in his new post. We’re sure he’ll take Qatar by storm! His successor is Gary Friend, a seasoned GM with many years ME experience.
British Night at the Hyatt has been moved to Thursday due to popular demand.
