World-leading UK companies are backing a campaign to showcase the best of modern British manufacturing at an exhibition during the London 2012 Olympic & Paralympic Games. The Make It In Great Britain show – at the Science Museum, London – seeks to raise awareness of the “dynamic, advanced and innovative industry” that employs 2.5 million people and is worth 130 billion pounds to the UK economy each year. It will run to 9 September.

We also have news on a massive £8 billion project to redevelop a landmark site in south London, bringing 33,000 jobs, along with UK inward investment results for the last year that showed, despite economic difficulties, companies from 58 countries investing in the UK, up from 54 the previous year.
